Can this light be installed upside down (so the lights point down)?

I'm looking for something to hang above a window over a kitchen sink and the electrical box is placed on the wall above the window (like you might see above a mirror in a bathroom).

Yes! As a Designer I often install vanity lights upside down. It can avoid looking up to bright bulbs. You just have to check you clearance to ceiling.
