The two that I do have (Tea Clipper and WS2000) seem to always droop their heads so up until now, I have tended to avoid Austins but seeing yours is making me wonder ....

Yes. I do have a few.... About 55, I think. I know many people struggle with them. They seem to like my climate. Being in Zone 5, I have a short growing season so they will never get huge here. I've been pretty lucky with them so far. I've recently added many Kordes roses and some Meilland Romanticas. They aren't blooming yet. I guess I'll have to see if they are as happy as my Austins. Fingers crossed.

Carol, yes my Charles Darwin does have a scent. I wouldn't say it is super strong, at least not to my nose....but it does have a lovely scent. The flowers do fade. Here is a pic from this morning.

you can see how the newly opened ones are very yellow/gold and the older ones are very light cream colored now.
