Travertine or Concrete Pavers for Pool Deck

I am redoing a large, traditional southern colonial home. I am thinking about using silver travertine on the pool deck and backyard patio and concrete pavers on the front driveway and walkways. However, I am way over budget and the travertine is more expensive. Any thoughts on the pros and cons of travertine vs. pavers for pool deck? Color suggestion to coordinate with silver travertine?
