My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Farmer in the Dell

I have been working on the applique for this quilt for almost 2 years while I have traveled for work. Finally got it together and it is on the frame right now.

    Yes, I hand appliqued while I traveled. It is a block of the month that I got from American Quilting in Orem, Utah. The pattern is sold by other places too. I was in Salt Lake on a work trip and visited many quilt shops in the area. They were just starting this block of the month, so I decided to do it by mail. Sharon, I didn't mark each block, but my calendar is a reminder of how many places that I have traveled. :) It was started in Utah and finished in Atlanta with North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, Texas, California, Nevada, Illinois, New York, New Jersey, New Mexico, Colorado, Virginia, Arizona, Florida and a few others in between. LOL I am happy with it considering that I have diabetic neuropathy in my fingers and have no feeling in the tips. It was good exercise for my fingers.
