When you plant rooted cuttings keep in mind that the new plant doesn't have a lot of roots to supply water. For the first month or so after you plant it the roots are very minimal and only extend into the upper inch or so of soil. So you'll have to water more often than you would a mature plant. Also it will get dried out quickly by direct sun so it needs to stay in bright but indirect light.

And then, even when you do everything right it doesn't always work. Just keep at it. :-)

The plants weren't (to my knowledge) large enough to actually be planted yet, and they weren't in direct sunlight, but I'll certainly keep working to get a method down that works for me
