the DUKES in trouble

Well, each bloom that tries to open has a black tip on the bloom and ends up deforming and curling. If I try to help him it ends up in a mess. (typical) Any ideas?

I'm thinking thrip or mites. I would use Neem oil.

Fickle reds in foggy/cool Ventura = bud failure. I'd love to own some more reds, but my experience tells me they don't do well in our climate (we just don't get the heat). My Scott Pratt bloomed for the first time last year....I've owned it as a rooted plant for 7 years.

Mike I lost Duke and Scott Pratt when I first got into them 10 years ago....do you think he would be better below deck where it is HOT then?
