Should the Ripplefold Drapes Go to the Ceiling

I am having a hard time deciding the height of my Ripplefold Drapes. I have a modern style home, so I chose ripplefold for the clean look. I will be using white Kirsh ripplefold tracks.

The problem is that my ceiling has a slight pitch to it (it is slightly vaulted). So, I cannot (as far as I know) do a ceiling mount of the drapes. I will be doing wall mount.

Should I do the wall mount as close to the ceiling as possible, or how many inches above the trim should I start them?

I normally would automatically go to the ceiling with these drapes, but I'm concerned that it will leave an odd looking little gap because the ceiling is not at a 90 degree angle. Am I just overthinking this?

FYI - the ceiling starts around 93" and the sliders are about 80" tall.

Oh, and that big roll on the bottom is just a roller sun shade that will be mounted just above the trim. We live on the water and the sun is brutal during the day.

I would go just over the trim in this case.

I have to agree it is the only way to handle this. I hope the blinds you are installing are solar shades so you can still enjoy the view and keep the heat out.

Yes, the roller shade will be installed which is a solar one with 10% openness so we can see the view. It is just on that one window (not the other ones in the room) because the sun beats in through that glass.

As for the drapes, the slider is about 100" wide, and the track for the ripplefold will be somewhere around 136" wide which accommodates for stackback off of the window. So, if I install them just over the trim, is that going to make the proportions look weird?

Additionally, I have another set of sliders in that room as well as 2 arched windows flanking my bed. I will be setting the height the same for all of the drapes, and I was thinking the arched ones would look best if the drapes were all the way to the ceiling?

FYI - the pitch of the ceiling is not as extreme as the picture shows.
