They don't like winds, leaves are pretty thin. They prefer partial sun. That's how I saw them in their ideal environment and how I'm growing it, mine is only about 2' tall. I bought it online about 3 months ago, it's doubled the height and number of leaves.

they damage VERY easily in cold. dont let them get below 40F

no direct sun either. mine get 1 hour early morning and 2 hours late evening, and about %20 during the day. seems to work good ... i use fish emulsion and compost tea. try to keep the soil moist, but not wet.
