Shared Loft Bed for Kids Room

Want to create cube-like loft bed for each kid (see picture I found online) with a private space underneath for a study area. Any idea on where to find translusent doors that are around 5ft high. Ideally some-type of plexi-glass not real glass. Debating trying to custom build or find something already created which guessing might be easier but more expensive. Thoughts? advice?

Kids grow. A 5-foot tall space under a loft bed will not be enough to stand in by the time they are 10 or 12 years old.

While I do not think kids should share a room I do think if they have to the pic you posted is really cool!

They look pricey for specialty items which the kids will outgrow in a year or so. They don’t really need that much privacy for homework. How about simple loft beds with desks and lighting underneath, or regular twin beds with desks and chairs?

hey, if you are looking for something similar to the picture, I recommend you the wnm-group.co.uk website! There are loft beds and you may a desk space underneath. I have a single bed but I think you will find something suitable for your little one

My niece used to have a loft bed…..by IKEA. (Years ago, but they might still make them)

Very fun idea, but soon the kids might outgrow them. Guess the units could be used for storage at that time. With the door is closed will there be enough heating, cooling or ventilation?
