Built in blinds

Is really like to put white wooden built in blinds into this window...but am not sure of the best way to install them. I like it when the blinds sit within the window frame...so ideally the window would have 8 blinds sitting within each window pane. But would this be too much? Should I just put blinds on the lower 4 sections? Or the top as well?

Also - you can just see this a a slight box window so there are also 2 window panes on each side window. Should I also do one on each of these? So many questions! I just feel that one full wooden blind covering the entire window might be too much and wouldn't sit within the window as nicely as a blind for each window pane? Help!! What do you think?

If you do not need privacy nor sun control. Shutters on the bottom only might be nice. I would shutter the 6 bottom windows.

Will the shutters interfere with the casement window hardware?

8 blinds is a going to be a lot of strings! If you have kids, it's something to consider. I like what Tancalgal suggested above. Shutters would be very elegant and can be made to open and fold if necessary. Though I would probably have them up top as well if privacy is an issue in that room.

Tip for you. I have a set of windows like this in my dining room and have plantation shutters and Anderson wind out windows like yours. There is not enough clearance for the large handles to open the windows, so they had to be removed. Our sills are 5 and a half inches deep. The smaller handles are what you will need for shutters. In the back of our house I hung woven wood blinds in each window.
