How wide is this Island???

How deep is the over hang? My ixland is 4 feet wide and the cabnet maker wants a large over hang . from the looks of yours , with the posts on the ends it doesn't have to over hang so much. I just need seating for 4

    6' wide with a 2' overhang

    Hi Kathy,

    The Island is 10' 7" long the base cabinets are 24" deep adn the overhang starts at 12" at the posts and at the center of the arch it is 24"

    would i need a support in the middle to strengthen the granet for the 24'' overhang?

    We have a steel plate under the granite to support the overhang. I hope this helps.
