Thinking about pewter. Would that work

I've read a couple of references to pewter lately...but haven't actually seen it as a material. Zinc on the other hand is similar to pewter...but without the lead. Is this what you are talking about?

And zinc is a sheet metal. It could be cut to fit and installed. Comes in 8' lengths.

They also have a Pewter Tile available, and i sell Pewter Countertops which is a premium material..I think you may be able to buy a clear glass tile and paint the backs of the tile Pewter and that is reasonable as to getting the look you want without the pain in the wallet

White and black tiles.

I would suggest a buttery yellow (to go with the granite), glazed 4x4 or 6x6 tile with a crackle-glaze finish. Set it in an offset pattern - which is like a subway pattern for a square tile. This is a classic look that will not date and would really suit the style of the cabinets.

My neighbour just added a beautiful buttery yellow glass splash back and it looks super. I have glass in my kitchen too. Really easy to clean.

I like the look of pressed tin, either the real thing or faux.

Have you considered a beadboard backsplash?! We recently did that in a kitchen an we love the turnout. In the kitchen attached we had the beadboard painted the same color as the wall, but you could paint it any color!

Pressed metal would look great!

Will places like Lowes let you take samples?

I have a similar look in my kitchen and have the same granite backsplash as the counters....

At Lowe's you can buy a unit (sq ft or whatever) then simply return it.
