Looking for advice on putting laminate wood vs. hardwood floors in our kitchen/dining room. I was leaning towards hardwood but saw some of the current Pergo designs looked so nice and are a fraction of the cost! We haven't had previous issues with water spills or leaks but I'm a bit concerned should that happen, will laminate need to be replaced? Thinking it might be hard to match a section if that happens. What about hardwood? Would that be a problem? How about bamboo?
