I've been told by my cousin, a decorator, to paint my dining room, -woodwork, chair rail, celling and walls all one color in different finishes, of course. Perhaps BM Prescott green or Salisbury green...She says it is more formal, dramatic and chic to paint it all one hue. Two tones makes it looks smaller with lower ceilings and chopped up is her thinking. Anybody have any pictures of one hue that worked well for them?
