We are using 3x6 white subway tile for our kitchen backsplash, with gray grout. We have a small kitchen. Is the decision to make the grout more or less visible strictly aesthetic or does having a thinner grout line give you a more finished look? Our tile installer has offered wider or thinner separators for grout but I'm not experienced enough to see the overall picture of one vs the other.
