Interested in how you made out. I am the same. Had subway stile installed 3 days ago and it was a terrible match to countertop in the lighting. Need to remove. Not grouted. Suggestions?

Yes, it's not great. I'd recommend cream colored subway tile, unless your cabinets are pure white. Then I'd say find a beige subway tile that matches the main color in the granite.

We had our tile removed drywall repaired and tiled over. Here's a pic It looks white in the photo but is actually a linen color and if you expand it you can see that the tile has an uneven surface which I love because it gives it an old world look.
