i am planning a kitchen renovation. The kitchen is in a very large room and there is an island in front (13ft) - the kitchen is raised on a platform. I would like to have the wall of cabinets / fridge / oven longer than the island itself but wondering will this look odd and should I keep the wall the same length as the island ? I was also wondering how to end the wall as I want a countertop and shelves with a backsplash but should it just end or do I need another cabinet to frame the space ? the walls are 35ft high and the room is 50 ft wide so its in a very big space !
