Okay so I don't think the photos posted right. Sorry this is the first time I have posted something on this website. Please excuse the stuff in the background and my bamboo. I had to try several time to get it to post. Also the plant is inside. It was in the bathroom, but I moved it out into the dinning room this morning. I live in tennessee in between Nashville and mephis. The weather is very hot and humid here right now. My thermostat inside is set at 73. 4ight now it is early morning so the sun is not shinning yet. Thank you. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Normal phalenopsis (your orchid type) process, cut the flower stem about 1/2" above where it comes out of main stem and sit in east or shaded west/south window. Should develop another flower spike this fall.
