It will indeed continue to grow and rather quickly beome too big for a front lawn. Free or discount removal? Probably not unless some tree service is offering free labor and expertise - not exactly a sound plan for staying in business. You may find someone who will credit the value of the wood against the normal charge, but that's pretty unlikely, too. Norway maple doesn't even make particularly good firewood.

get rid of it..

it will make a nice pile of wood chips ... so again .. FREE MULCH ..

i would do it after leaf fall ... so that your wood chips are all wood .. rather than half green leaf ..

i highly doubt there is any inherent vale in the wood of such a small tree ..

get three estimates ... insure they all carry insurance ... and then decide if the cheapest is within budget ... if not.. that tree looks perfect where it is .. lol ..
