sorry, i don't know about light blue colors, although i think it would be perfect from what you describe. blue is easy living as a color. if you have kids, you might consider chalkboard paint..

i am happy to make you happy :) i was seriously thinking of chalkboard paint for over the range as i had seen online :) to write poetry and whatever else came to mind...it just seemed like fun but i got talked out of it :)
i have seen pictures of kids drawing on the walls and it seems like a wonderful idea..well, for kids of any age :)
but it might not be what you want at this point.
