Hi Kristen, there are many ways to make a visual impact in a bathroom, but certainly having a focal point is very important if you want to make that kind of statement. The custom mosaic tile in this room works so well because I designed the room to be centered on an axis point. Even though it isn't symmetrical, it is balanced. It looks to me like your plan has a different feeling in the layout altogether. Your vanities are not the same size, the window is not centered on the room, when you walk in, you practically bump into the foot of the tub. I would not suggest adding another element of complication unless you can get your designer to create a different layout all together.
