The concrete was finished by G.W. Brockelbank . The aggregate is tan pea stone. I hope that answers your question.

My front porch is concrete, with an exposed aggregate. I would never use it again. I don't find it barefoot friendly at all, it sheds small pebbles constantly, and the pebbles are easily brought into the house where they can scratch your floors. If a larger pebble pops out, it leaves a pit in the surface. I also find it difficult to clean because soil from planters and such gets down in between the pebbles. And finally, I feel like the aggregate restricts your design choices for adjoining sidewalks or patios. Poured concrete or aggregate works, but I'm not sure about pavers or flagstone .
