What material is the white deck ceiling?

How is the exterior ceiling alike or different than the interior ceiling? We would like to duplicate this interior/exterior flow to the ceiling across the top of our window frames.

We made only all glazing at the house and I don't know how is that ceiling alike.

In most cases is just exterior type drywall. In some places they also use MGO board that uses the installation as drywall.
