Hi everyone,

I was given some small cacti which I have watered but not really done much else with. I noticed a while ago some fuzz around the spines of two of them but just though this was part of the plant. However lately it seems to be spreading to other parts of the plant. I have researched online and I am suspecting that they have a mealy bug infection, however, I cannot see any actual bugs, and after them having the fuzz for quite a while I would have thought the adults would be quite big.

Can anyone confirm if it is mealy bugs or if not what it could be? Or is it just normal?
