Still waiting for Houzz fix

It has been almost a month since the latest version of Houzz rolled out that prevents lots of people (including me) from posting photos on threads. Extremely frustrating!

I don't understand why this big of a problem was not caught in tests before the new version was released. Although I have an all in one computer for my desk, I use my IPhone 5s for Houzz and many apps so I don't have to park in front of my computer all day.

Hi Hal, We are still working on this issue and have been having a hard time reproducing it here. So sorry for the frustration!

A few days ago there was a Houzz update that seems to have fixed the problem

As of a few days ago I have to click an image many times before it grabs the upload.

@lucidos Can you tell me what browser/version you are using and whether you experience the same issue when you try to upload a new profile or cover photo or just in the discussions?

Often an uploaded pic takes a while before you can see it, but I think that is more of a cellular or internet problem. As cameras in cell phones improve the pics have better resolution which means much larger file size and longer time to upload.

I normally use firefox but let me test with chrome and opera. It happens when I upload images anywhere. Curious thing is it is sporadic. So I'm guessing it's an issue with the file server for the images. Probably a woggy nic.

Quick test...Chrome stalled Opera seemed ok. Windows 8.

When it happens. The circle spins as if it is uploading then just quits with no image. I have tried renaming files. It will sometimes take on the 2nd to 19th try. If I wait it will sometimes go in. Interestingly enough if I close the page and reopen it, it normally goes right in.
