The remote on my Samsung TV works sometimes, and sometimes it doesn't. This seems to have nothing to do with the batteries. It'll work just fine, and then the next time I pick it up, minutes or days later, it won't. I was thinking of getting a replacement remote, but then I wondered if the problem could be in the TV itself. If that's a possibility, I might not want to invest in a new remote, even one from eBay.

Which brings up another question: The model number on the side of the TV is

LN32C450-10XZA

I've seen remotes for sale that came with other size TVs in the C450 line; would these work with my TV? No one seems to reference the "10XZA"--are those numbers irrelevant when it comes to remotes?
