Not So Complimentary Reference

We hired an architect from her reviews in Houzz. We are under construction now and are finding it difficult to get timely answers and direction from her. Thus we are thinking about posting a less than favorable reference. Yet we don't see many poor references. Does Houzz or the entity being referred to sanitize less than favorable references.

Hi there, Thanks for reaching out! Nope, there are definitely poor reviews on Houzz. If you have had a less than stellar experience, definitely submit an objective review about your experience. That kind of feedback is welcome.

Let me start by saying I'm a total civilian here so my opinion is from one client of an architect to another. .. It sounds like you're hesitant to leave a "less than stellar review" which tells me
A. You're pissed as hell and don't wanna take it anymore!
B. You may hold out a bit of hope the architect may come around.
Our house plans are currently in the hands of the neighborhood ARB. We will probably have approval this week and hopefully break ground by Oct 1, 2015. Our architect had been wonderful. I'd be very hesitant to leave a less than stellar review also! Would you consider having a heart to heart with your architect voicing your frustrations? The heart to heart might turn things around for y'all. Perhaps this story could have a happy ending! Hope so! Good luck!
