Thanks for the information. Are they reliable? Do you get what you order? Sometimes they advertise adeniums with georgeous flowers and when you eventually get your tree to bloom, the flowers are not what they advertised. That is the reason for me contacting anybody on the forum. I do have a few plants which I bought locally but they are all singles.

Hello krish, adenium genetics are much like human genetics, just as 2 brown eyed people can sometimes with a low chance have a blue eyed child (if they both have the recessive gene) double seeds don't always make double seedlings. I've read that double and triple flowers are fairly rare from seed. Even if both parent plants are double the chance is getting double is something like 1%-5% if I remember correctly. This chance will improve over time as the genetics through the generations gets more desirable.

Also know that because adenium seeds are not true to their parents, the color of the sterling's flowers may not be exactly as the parent. For this reason, many adenium growers say if you want a specific flower, like a double, than you should get a grafted plant.

Rick recently posted a great reliable source for grafted plants. I think her name is rinoh though I probably just butchered her name.
