A friend gave me this wonderful plant. Three quick questions: (1) what is it? (2) it has red spots; are they hurtful (the plant was in full sun for awhile. The spots seem to be only on the brown and not really on the leaves - although I'm not sure (3) how much sun, light does it need. I get a lot of light but not sun.
