WE are firm believers that with lovely windows such as these, there should be no obstructions.

Those fabric "things" that cost a bundle and are used to "drape" over windows like this not only obscure the great bones of the architectural detail of the windows, they are one more thing to clean, collect dust, and add to the clutter of what can be a fantastic view.

Keep it as it is. It looks clean, and just great!

for Decorative Philosophy

I like drapery so I would either add fully functional drapes or stationary drape panels on the side. Probably in your case the drapes would be more decorative so stationary panels would work best.

The windows are beautiful! I would hang roman shades in each of the four bottom windows (inside mount) in the same color as the walls. They would "finish" the room and add some softness, as well as light and noise control.

These are all wonderful suggestions. I agree that keeping it sheer and open is a good idea!
