Chandy Candy!

Would love some ideas for an awesome chandelier to spice up my bedroom. I am open to anything so any and all ideas greatly appreciated! The ceiling is 10'9". The bed is staying- all the other furniture will be replaced.

Somoething tall and big and ornate like the bed. Will need weight to balance the bed.

There are alot of chandy's out there. Decide on mood and then go for it! It will be a challenge deciding!

For hanging start at 60-66 inches about the floor for ceiling height of 8 feet then and 3 inches of height for every foot above 8 foot ceiling. If ceiling height is 14 feet you would add 18 inches for a height of 78-84" for bottom of chandy from the floor.

You know it is like jewelry! If you like it and it is big enough for the room it will probably be fine. I almost tagged one like it but again not sure on scale. I see it is 40 inches wide, but maybe needs more tiers and I have seen them with multiple tiers and in a dark color; that might be important! EA has a 12 light leafy one that might work!

It has to be big for the room.....do some research on how to size a chandy for a room; just google it for an answer or find on Houzz.

I was just on the Pottery Barn Chandy site and I will tell you you have to check them out. Some are really really unique; maybe not for a bedroom, but they are just pretty amazing I think! haha Have fun!
