If they don't have it then you can take this picture to any quality upholstery shop to have one made . It might be very expensive depending on the fabric used . I recommend using Sunbrella fabric .

Yes, I know its off blackish there is where I found the photo. Im in the Washington DC area and i have found headboards no problem...its finding the whole bed! Im not sure why this is so hard to find. The basset one was a great suggestion and I love it but its 2700 and we just bought a new house and need things like a sofa as well....Maybe ill have to cave and just get something cheaper for now!

I sold furniture for quite some time at a few different stores. $2700-$4000 is a reasonable price for that style of bed, especially if you want the whole frame with foot board. a headboard only would of course be cheaper and you can just connect it to your bed frame and get a bed skirt. that would be a way to get a nice look and save quite a bit of money. that one from Bassett looks pretty darn close though. good call Mary!

Thanks all, I realize that i get what i pay for. The splurge is going to the living room, because its a more visible room. I fell in LOVE with the restoration hardware Kensington sofa so that is where the money is going.

I think that's a great decision. Footboards are a nuisance if you ask me (lol) and you can get a great headboard for not very much money (try Home Sense) ...I would be spending the money on a superior mattress and of course a good couch.

I dont think ive ever had a bed with a footboard so maybe i wouldnt like it anyway...
