    My receiver is a Yamaha RX-V677 which is 6.8 inches high. Will it fit into the space in the middle? Can the shelving be removed or adjusted in the middle where the glass is? I want to put the receiver behind the glass so I can use the IR remote. Thanks!

    Thank you. Also, how wide are the slots behind the glass? The receiver is 17 1/8 inches wide. Will I need to remove the divider or will it fit in the slot?
