Love the furniture and the central fire-pit. I love the outdoors & one thing I hate is that I can't use the outdoor setting in the winter! But, seeing this setting, I think I am going to plan on adding a good central fire-pit. But one that's easy to clean. Probably even consider home-made with concrete and rusting tiling! I would personally prefer a bit more colour in the setting. Especially the cushions. I am looking at some gorgeous outdoor cushion covers from www.zahaarasanctuary.com. Just AU$25 and they post worldwide cheap!
Really like the lattice here as well... but only if there is a good backdrop of greenery, as seen here.

I love the peroila and the privacy "screen" . I live in Il as well and would love o know what the spreading foliage is and if it comes back after snow. Thank you Linda

In answer to a question about another view of this patio, he said the vine is a climbing hydrangea.

The climbing hydrangea is very resistant and spreads beautifully. I comes back majestically in the late spring in Chicago.

We love climbing Hydrangea. Its an incredible plant with its peeling bark, lace cap flowers, woody structure, great fall color and slow growth.
