Modern, but not too modern dining room

Hi,

I need help finding a dining table for my contemporary home. I want to go with something modern but still keep with my traditional taste. I do not want a farmhouse table since it seems like every house I walk into these days has one of those. Thoughts?

Probably a bit more info would be good like wood? if so what is the rest of the space like . How many seats do you want what size is the space .

You might try searching for photos of "transitional" dining rooms, as that captures your modern/traditional zone of style. That still spans a lot of possibilities, so more guidance (materials, photos of spaces, etc.) would help...

Thanks! I am open and am starting with a blank slate. I was initially thinking of getting a concrete table with wood legs (to soften the look) or a wood table with straight legs to give it a clean look. I want to add a rectangular crystal chandelier to bring the look together. But I am wondering if I will regret a concrete table and would not know what sideboard/buffet I could pair with that.
