Help clean up this bathroom

I want to do a slight Reno on this small bathroom. Will be removing shower doors and replacing them with a curtain. Plan to have new doors made for the sink cabinet. I do not plan to update the countertop. Thinking the Floor should be a slate/gray color. Walls a light gray?? What color should I paint the vanity? What would you do with the mirror and these lights have to go. Please give me your suggestions!

Your countertop looks to be off white, be very careful with a grey paint on the wall.. The coolness of a grey may clash making the countertop look dirty. If you do a charcoal grey floor, a color scheme (pearl white and mint greens) like the attached would look beautiful.

My bathroom looked very similar. We replaced the sink fixture with a nice, updated oil rubbed bronze one, and it made a huge difference. If you're going with gray floors i would definitely paint the vanity white.

Also, I did a DIY frame for our mirror using white painted moulding. If you google diy bathroom mirror frame I'm sure you can find lots of tutorials if you're interested. It looks pretty and cost very little!

I like the suggestion of replacing the faucet. I have thought about replace the vanity, the problem is it is so small 21 ins. Wide. I do not want to get into changing the plumbing in the wall. The plan is to remove the vanity and reinstall after the floor is completed. The shower has four screws, two on each side. There is chalking on the bottom.

I never thought about that. So should the walls be a mint green or the vanity. I was really counting on a gray toned bathroom. I'm really confused

You could do a white cabinet or do a dark greyish cabinet with a color like Benjamin Moore Whale Grey. But the wall could be a grey/green/minty grey can't really give a suggestion without holding the paint up to the countertop. But winter white would be my suggestion based on what I can see in the picture! Hope this helps

Appreciate all the great suggestions. This old Berndston/Bierly home needs a lot of updates. For right now this will help clean up the bathroom and make it presentable for guests. We are mainly focusing on restoring redwood and updating windows
