I'm glad to hear from someone who has had hands on experience with it and who likes it since the reviews on it have been very mixed at best. Did you have the heat cycling on and off problem like so many report? Did yours actually reach an active boil? Many report it takes more than an hour to heat up to temp and that concerns me about the food being over-processed. Many also report it never does actually reach boiling point. Are they correct that it will only hold pint jars? How many jars will fit?

Holds up to 7quarts. Takes a while to heat up but stays boiling for processing.

I've never seen one of those. The photo seems to show your canner has a spigot draining into your sink. Is that why you don't have to lift it anymore? I probably would just have scooped out one small potful of hot water at a time to empty the canner. As it is already hot, I probably would have used the water to wash up dishes or to mop the floor.
