Oh, good - maybe you can help me with this: what is the height of the hood itself, and what was the measurement from the floor to the bottom of the hood? I'm ordering the same hood from Rangecraft, and my ceiling height is about what you were working with -- 95" -- but I'm tall (6') so I may have to have it mounted all the way to the ceiling, without the crown molding above it. I may have to adjust the bands to work with my crown molding. And is the top flat band the same as the bottom one - about 4"? Or is it wider, with part disappearing behind the crown molding? Thank you!

Okay, we're going to do our best.

I was able to find the files for this kitchen and it looks like the height of the hood is 24" and the bottom of the hood is 68 1/2" off the floor.

As for the bands I'm not exactly sure what you mean. With crown molding we always have some type of fascia underneath in order to have something to mount the crown to. For this kitchen we have (roughly) 3" of fascia and 3" of crown molding on the top of the cabinets. However, over the hood the crown molding either overlaps the fascia or our installers used something else behind the molding to support it. But it gives the visual effect that there is only crown molding above the hood.

I have three more questions, if you don't mind: 1) Is the stainless finish of this hood brushed or non-directional? Rangecraft shows both types on their website, but it's hard to tell the difference in photos. 2) What is the width of the two stainless bands with rivets that are centered on the radius portion of the hood? 3) How far out do the top and bottom project from the wall? Thanks again for any help you can provide.
