There was a lady here with an inspiring kitchen, gosh I forget the person's name. But here's the photo!

Here was my kitchen when we first bought it 2 years ago:

So we've done small and big upgrades here and there, spread out over the 2 years. I'm a big DIY'er, so it's been a fun (and labor intensive) experience. The house was a rental before we bought it, so it has seen some things. So here is where we are now!

We are planning on painting the top cabinets white. I was thinking of even replacing the end cabinet doors with glass ones to make it feel a little more open. We replaced the laminate with granite and a butcher block on the lower table/counter. All the appliances replaced, new sink/faucet/disposal. I'd love to do a colorful tile behind the stove, too, like the inspiration photo.

Once it's done I'll clean and take some better photos, hah.
