I was concerned about hiring a designer, but knew that I did not have the time to make my home the beautiful and comfortable haven that I wanted. Working with Alexa has been a real pleasure, she is talented and hard-working. She listens to my wishes and makes them even better than I had imagined. I first hired Alexa for space planning. She reconfigured my basement to create a functional kitchen, a pleasant dining space, and an exciting entertainment space. Her sketches helped my contractor create a space that greatly enhances my family's lifestyle. She met with my contractor and guided me in repurposing existing pieces. My teenage kids rave about the newly redesigned space, and we spend more time together as a family. I got more than I expected in hiring Alexa, and have named her "my designer for life"! Alexa finds elegant, timeless furnishings and her access to trade only sources ensures that my pieces are one of a kind. She created a focal point in my home that is the topic of conversation for all who visit. Speaking of unique pieces, she also does custom cabinetry design and window treatments. She created a fabulous window treatment for me that has transformed those spaces so much that I hope to do new window treatments throughout my home. I would be remiss if I did not mention that Alexa made sure my project was ready for the holidays, even after a storm incapacitated the region. She was in constant contact with the vendors, and made sure they did what it took to get my room ready for our Thanksgiving celebration. I am so thankful for Alexa's exquisite taste. I have been thrilled with her results, and feel so happy and comfortable in my home now that she has made such transformative changes. I can actually say that I love to stay home and enjoy my elegant, stylish surroundings. I still have work to do in my home, but now that I can count on Alexa's guidance, I look forward to the joy of redecorating my home--not to mention the wonderful results!
