Think about how you cook and how you prepare meals. The triangle formed between the sink and refrigerator and the stove should not be too big or too small, and ideally unobstructed. The space between counter tops should be sufficient for two people to pass each other comfortably, and able to have open appliance doors to be opened without interfering with the production of the kitchen.
