My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

    yes, there is. I had the dyptic commissioned by my favorite artist so that it would split to reveal the television. Nowadays, TVs are so thin, it's really easy to hide them!

      That is exactly what I wanted to do in my living room -- Do you mind if I ask how, technically, you did this? How do the panels split apart? Is it just a hinged frame or . . . . ???

      The panels split in the middle and slide apart sideways. I used a simple pair of drawer glides but, I did this project about 12 years ago and there wasn't much out there. Now, there is much more sophisticated hardware out there- even electrified. I would check with an upscale art installer or a home theatre company. Good luck with your project!

      Good idea! Actually, the drawer glides are really good idea!!!! I was thinking about trying to recess some kind of Fry Reglet channel and cobble together something to slide within it, but drawer glides ... genius!
