Bagworms, can trees be saved?

I have a shrub of some sort and a leyland cypres that i didnt pay much attention to and the bagworms have took them over. My question is, can they be saved or are the bare branches dead now? Would like to try and save them. Here is a pic of the shrub:

That part of the tree is dead. The rest of the tree may continue to grow (if you keep the bagworms off), but that part is a goner. If it were me, and I wanted a quick visual block, I might consider replacing your 'Leyland' with another type of tree (possibly a 'Green Giant' thuja).

ok. So i will start keeping an eye on my trees for bagworms now. What is the best thing i can get at lowes to mix in a tank sprayer to treat my trees for bagworms for now on?
