any advice is great here!
do you think it would be safe and solid if i install 18 x 18 travertine over ditra on a 7/8" tongue and groove plywood with joists 16" on center?
ditra wants me to put an extra 3/8"plywood but then ill have to cut doors etc.
also, how tight can i make the joints?
do i use sanded or unsanded grout? 18 x 18 travertine.
what trowel would be best? what mortar should i use?
roughly, what would be the finished height? the travertine is 1/2"
