Help with an Accessible Bathroom Layout, Please.

We are planning a remodel with the idea of 'aging in place' in mind. There is going to be an addition of a garage/apt and what used to be a bathroom is turning into an entry /mudroom and the bathroom is moving into an adjacent small bedroom.

I've just made a preliminary drawing of the Bathroom/Mudroom space. It includes the exit from the mudroom and steps to a landing where there will be an entry door to the garage. I've filled in what I thought would work for the mudroom, but don't know where to start with the bathroom layout. The two windows at present are double hung.

We do have a short but narrow 30" hallway entering this space from the left or [south] side, with a wall that we don't want to move. I've tried using a wheelchair to see if I can fit through that narrow hallway and I can. I just can't turn into the bedroom doorway in my present layout. I've enlarged an area almost 5ft square in front of that bedroom door and will also be in front of the bathroom door, thinking it will be enough to rotate the chair into position to enter the bedroom and the bathroom and a 36" hallway straight ahead through the mudroom. The remaining bedroom will be across the hall from the bathroom and is on the East side of the drawing.

The empty space with the two windows is the space available for the bath. The window on the North wall of that room is now a double hung but I see now that it will be right above a landing and stairs to the garage and will not allow for privacy. I am considering whether to take it out and put in a high on the wall window instead, just for light and air. Maybe frosted.

I hope this is not too confusing. If anyone has any suggestions, I'd love it.
