Perhaps a bedspread or duvet cover with a pattern or paisley with blue and silver. Or you could stencil a pattern around the headboard (with chalk if you don't want to paint) the color of the ceiling in an ornate pattern that would break up the stark contrast of the two colors. Or drape a beautiful piece of fabric that has both colors over the corners of the headboard.

I would try to find a fabric with both colors so it looks intentional.

Paint the nightstand to go with the bed. Something about your lamp bothers me. How about a silver floor lamp with a curved arm directed toward the bed in the other corner? Then maybe a lamp with a squatter, fuller base on the nightstand. New silver hardware on the nightstand too. Bigger rug or at least a matching one alongside the bed. Bedding to go with the bed. Accent pillow with the tiff. Blue color.

Yes. Needs a deep color to anchor; I would do black but could see chocolate or navy working too. Also pops of orange, maybe in pillows, to balance. They clash as is, but they don't have to. The eye is easily tricked by combinations of color. You could look at a color wheel when you stand in the room, and take note of where the two blues fall, along with their opposites. Adding in splashes of both their opposites might make the whole thing make sense, especially if you have a deep anchor color in a big place, like the bed or furniture.

My feeling is the two colors are not working well together. I could be wrong, and lighting could be an issue..but I think repainting may be warranted.

I love the wall color and headboard-looks very chic! I would get rid of the wood dresser and replace with a mirrored armoire or cabinet...More bling...maybe even a silver toned chandelier-just a thought.

Finding fabrics which integrate the two colors would bring the color scheme together, but I think you will find it tough to do so - your wall color is a green based blue and your headboard is a pink based blue....I don't think you will have an easy time finding a fabric which integrates the two....

Consider adding lots more blues - indigo, turquoise, peacock - sometimes a 'symphony of blues' works well. Or as others have suggested, a couple pillows in patterned fabrics that incorporate both colors. It will only take two or three pillows along with some art (same idea - art that uses both colors). You could even try a DIY project of going to the art store and buying 2 tubes of paint that match each of your blues, then using them and some stencils to make 2 paintings that you hang on either side of the bed.

You might want to look at simple ways of separating the colors.

Try something like hanging a very simple curtain behind the bed that extends out past the headboard on both sides by about 6". Choose a color that is neutral and perhaps is reflected elsewhere in the room. Something like the linen color that is in your carpet.

You can use very inexpensive pre-made panels from any big box store. Hang them on a silver colored rod at the same level as the shift between the blue and white of the upper wall.

To carry on you could replace or paint the dresser a white, add a clear glass based lamp (keep the shade it is the right proportion) and add a couple of prints with large white matts and silver frames (about 16"x32").

I love both colors together! You need to throw some linens that have the same tones of turquoise and grey in them. Adding mirrors to both sides of the bed would create more symmetry. If not mirrors then a pair of wooden frames that are the same color as your door and night stand.

Add a third color like orange. Orange is a nice accent color to go with the blue and the gray bed.Your bed is very nice, but the comforter is too plain and non inviting for the headboard. Liven it up some with layers of another color. Add orange pillowcases or shams, orange and blue floral or stripe acent pillows, etc. Get a comforter in a nice gray color to go with the wihite sheets. Balance the bed with another nightstand on the left and a lamp also. Add art with orange blue , gray, tan or beige in it.

This bedding might connect the colors for you.

I think they look fine! I don’t see anything wrong. I would have suggested painting the doors & trim white but since you’re in a rental you need to check with the landlord first. You can find bedding that coordinates better.
