I really need help in putting this room together, I hate rugs, but everyone is saying, it brings the room together. I just had all the furniture reupholstered, love the way it looks but desperately need color, would love some deep red, nothing wild, I have put a few things on the table, would love a rug with a little red, but I'm on a budget, no more than $300.00 for a 8x10. I need help or any other suggestions. Thank you

Search overstock.com. They have many rugs at reasonable prices.

I would like something with a wow look, this are very nice, but it feels like I'm playing safe, I love the deep red color but everything I find, there is to much of it, or I need to bring it in decorations, any ideas if not the carpet? Here is a picture of my dining room chairs that are next to the living room, i might reupholster them later, but for now is it.

You could use a nice area rug that has a little bit of the red-brown color and one or more colors. I wouldn't worry about it being busy as your upholstery fabrics are neutral

That's my thought to, if I can find a little red on a beige background, would be nice, otherwise I would choose the one rug with little design and not to busy, I went to home goods, they didn't have anything I liked. Any suggestions? I'm in Yorba Linda CA or a website

I second the recommendation for Overstock, for rugs. If you're nervous about buying a large rug which can probably not be returned (?), first order the smallest one available in the same design.

I'd keep the red to pillows and accessories. Look for greens in the rug instead.

Hi Beverly, I really like the carpet with the tan and coral looking, the middle picture, where can I find it at? I was at home goods and found nothing

Nice job on re-upholstering everything. I would put the 2 chairs together with the little table/lamp in between, where you have one chair and ottoman now. Maybe the tall lamp could go over by the plant (where the table with lamp is now). Bring the end table more towards the sofa so you can put your drink on it (after you have removed a few pics.)

Angel, what do I do with the ottoman if I put the two chairs together? I like how everything is balanced, I do need to remove pictures, have WAY to many

With all the wood in the room the tan paint color on the walls does nothing for the room. White walls with one colored accent wall. I'm not a fan of rugs either but a classic oriental with some color would look awesome .
