Great question! Both are synthetic, so they'll keep their color really well and be quite vibrant. We use 100% Polyester in our fabrics because they won't pill, are stain, mildew and bug resistant, and won't stretch. Our fabrics are also fire rated, which is something to keep in mind when looking for upholstery fabric.

If you're concerned with durability, look for the durability rating on the spec sheet. Typically, there will be a durability rating (like the Wyzenbek rating) that says how many "double rubs" until there's noticeable wear on the fabric. The higher the DR, the better!

Thank you! One fabric I'm looking at is 100% polyester and is 100,000 rubs.

The other is a poly/acrylic blend and is 50,000 rubs.

Both are a good amount of DR, I would go with what you're leaning towards, both should be good in a residential application.
