I am trying for a West Indies theme and incorporating my Hawaiian artifacts for our new condo. I didn't like the rattan chairs that went to the pineapple pub table, but think I will buy the Braxton Culler Empress swivel chairs. If I go with rattan for the chairs would a vintage Brandt faux bamboo table to take the place of the small zebra stool be too much? I have ordered a natural fiber area rug and will top it with the Taj Mahal TMJ109-B area rug. Then I am considering buying two Ethan Allen Berwick chairs...one to take the place of the big over-sized chair next to the bamboo...and one next to the 'book shelf'. New lamps? Color? Thoughts?
