We are building our house and I am having a tough time picking materials for the bathrooms. I like carerra and calcatta marble but concerned with the maintenance for sink countertops. For master bath we were going to do all carrera for floor, vanity and shower walls/ floor.

Would you mix materials and do marble everywhere except vanity where water spots would be most likely to show up? If so, which material would you pick to work with the marble?

Would you do all marble or no marble at all.
